I bought this drill a couple months ago to replace my 14V B&D Firestorm. It is not nearly as good, and has proven unsatisfactory for most drilling/driving needs. I am getting by with a corded drill and will buy a different cordless drill to replace this one before my next home project.

I would not recommend using this for heavy duty jobs, more like semi-heavy. Using a hole saw with this on 3-plywood was no easy task. However, drilling into walls was simple. The adapter feels very light and cheaply constructed, too. Don’t mess around and crush or step on it. I originally bought this to wall mount a plasma tv, but i’ve been using it more for lighter tasks. You know, tightening screws around the house and other things that you wouldn’t want to do with a screwdriver.

bought this drill n driver from other store and installed two storm doors, has enough power to get the job done quickly,its huge upgrade from my 9v craftman.the first battery lasted long enough before i put the second one to work. The grip has a solid feel although the external is mostly plastic.The only reason i gave it four stars instead of five is because it didn’t came with a plastic case.i would definitely recommend this drill to anyone willing to go for a 14.4v.
